Emergency services attended a two-vehicle crash in Corbridge.
The incident occurred early morning on Wednesday, 5 January on the B6530 in Corbridge.
It had been reported that a car had skidded on black ice and hit another car.
Both cars were recovered and no one was injured.
A Force spokesperson said:
“Shortly after 9.05 am today (Wednesday) we received a report of a two-vehicle collision on the B6530 in Corbridge.
"It was reported a silver Nissan had skidded on ice and collided with a black Audi.
"Officers and emergency services attended and both cars were recovered.
"No one is believed to have sustained any serious injuries."
