POLICE are investigating an incident which took place at the weekend at a bar in Ponteland.
A Northumbria Police spokesperson said: "Shortly after midnight on January 2, officers received a third party report that a group of males had entered YOLO in Ponteland, looking for another man, who was believed to have been involved in an altercation with them earlier that night.
"It was reported the men were using threatening language and officers attended the scene.
"Enquiries into the incident are ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact police by calling 101 or by using our online reporting tool quoting log NP-20220102-0001."
