A THIRTY-ONE-YEAR-OLD pedestrian has been taken to hospital in a critical but stable condition after a crash in Ponteland.
Police are now appealing for information after the early-morning collision in the town.
At around 12.20am this morning (Thursday, December 30), police received a report of a collision between a pedestrian and a white Ford Fiesta on Rotary Way. The Fiesta was travelling from the direction of the Badger Pub.
The 31-year-old is in a critical but stable condition in hospital.
The driver stopped at the scene and is assisting police with inquiries.
