CARE home residents were surprised on Christmas Day with donated gifts.
Councillors in Prudhoe spent the morning distributing presents, provided by Age UK Northumberland, to the town's elderly.
Northumberland County Councillor Gordon Stewart, who represents Prudhoe South, was joined by town councillors Tracy Gilmore and Rob Blackburn delivering the activity packs to The Manors, Redbrick House, Prudhoe House, Havendene and Burnbrae. Gifts were also delivered to Rosetree Care Home, Mickley.
Coun. Stewart said: "It is always a pleasure to deliver presents on Christmas Day, and also thank those who are supporting our residents."
