Police have stopped nine unsafe cars near Hexham.
The Northumberia Police Road safety officers stopped the cars on the A69 near Hexham, in their latest road safety checks.
The officers stoped nine vehicles in relation of unscure loads, defective lights and drivers hours offence.
The force posted on social media about their findings:
"Our CV trained officers out and about on the A69 near Hexham today.Resulted in 9 vehicles being stopped and 5 prohibitions being issued.Offences included insecure loads, defective lights,Emergency Brake system cable broken,2 tyre offences and a drivers hours offence.#roadsafety"
