A NEW, boutique music festival is launching in Northumberland offering a lineup of some of the world’s best dance music DJs.

The three-day camping event - House of Barefoot Festival - is set to take place from Thursday, June 2 to Saturday, June 4 2022 - The Queen's Platinum Jubilee Weekend - on the grounds of a Stamfordham farm.

The festival will play host to tech-house pioneer Danny Howells, multi-award-winning Spanish selector Henry Saiz, Bristolian icon Nick Warren and Hernan Cattaneo, one of South America’s most celebrated DJs.

Offering camping, glamping and pitches for caravans and motorhomes, organisers say a full festival experience is offered. The site will have a stage with a state-of-the-art sound system, street food vendors and a number of fully licensed bars. Glampers will also have access to showers. House of Barefoot will also have limited capacity.

“We want to keep the capacity at a level that means everyone has an amazing overall experience,” explains Jonny Stobart, festival director.

“We have no doubt that we will sell out and we’re sure that people will love the atmosphere and want to return year on year.

“This event is for people to socialise, make new friends, enjoy an array of different styles of house music and most importantly, dance. Our past events have brought together people of all ages, it really is all-inclusive.

“This for me is what it is all about; people coming together and enjoying the company of those they may never have had the opportunity to meet. That in itself is really quite special.”

Tickets go on sale Friday, December 17 at 10am and can be purchased via the festival's official website: www.houseofbarefoot.com
