BLAYDON and Tynedale Rugby Clubs will kick off an exciting match on Saturday, 18 December at Blaydon.
Both teams are currently near the bottom of the league table, making this match both highly anticipated and nerve-wracking.
The pre-Christmas match will bring together supporters of Tynedale RFC and Blaydon RFC.
Marking this occasion is the North East premier street band, Meze Mundo, which will perform live before, during, and after the match.
Ike Stow, the band's trombone player, has played for both Blaydon and Tynedale Rugby Clubs in the past, making this match a unique event.
Blaydon are also hosting a President's Christmas Lunch on 18 December, which has a dress code of "the louder the better" Christmas jumpers, and will be serving a two-course Christmas dinner with all the trimmings.
