LOCALÂ author, Sarah Fae, invites children to hear the story of the Christmas Stag at Hexham Library, on Saturday, December 11.
Sarah will narrate the story of her book, Ghost the Christmas Stag, which aims to inspire children to choose conservation over commercialism this festive season.
Beautifully illustrated by Kathryn Holeman, the story is based on Sarah's experiences with a wild white roebuck in Northumberland in 2019.
Any child who loves magic and adventure will love this tale for Christmas, which explores our relationship with the natural world.
Published on December 8, the book has so far received 25 Amazon ratings, 89% of which are positive five star reviews.
Children can also write a letter to Santa and participate in various activities.
Copies of the book will be available to purchase, and Sarah will also sign your copy.
Hexham's Christmas Market will begin late Saturday evening, making it a fun and festive day out.
Tickets are free, but guests must register on Eventbrite. Available times are 11.00am - 11.45am, and 14.00pm - 14.45pm.
