CUMBRIA Libraries will be extending the deadline for their recent 'Reading Riot' scheme until next year.
The Reading Riot will be continued until January 17, 2021, to give more people time to return their bingo cards after Christmas.
The Reading Riot is a young adult reading challenge which was launched in libraries across Cumbria in October.
It aimed to inspire secondary aged people to read for pleasure as they move into their adult lives.
Cumbria County Council said: "Cumbria Libraries are delighted to announce that the deadline for Reading Riot has been extended until Monday 17th January.
"We want to give everyone more time to get their bingo card back to us after Christmas.
"Keep reading over the Christmas break and enjoy a bit more Riot."
