POLICE: Prudhoe home
A PRUDHOE home was broken into in the early hours.
Shortly after 4.20am on Sunday, police received a report of a break in at a property on the town's Edgewell Road.
"The resident left their home at around 7pm following day and came home to find that a glass pane had been smashed to assist with gaining access", said a Northumbria Police spokesperson.
Inquires are ongoing.
