RATING: Haltwhistle Tandoori
A NORTHUMBERLAND takeaway has been handed a new three-out-of-five food hygiene rating.
Haltwhistle Tandoori, a takeaway at 3 Market Square, Haltwhistle, was given the score after assessment on October 15, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.
It means that of Northumberland's 289 takeaways with ratings, 204 (71 per cent) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
The takeaway had previously held a 1 star (major improvement necessary) rating when inspected in August 2019.
