Haltwhistle shops are extending opening hours for one night for the annual late night shopping event.
The Haltwhistle late night shopping event is one of the top evenings in the town’s social calendar.
It is hosted by the town’s Chamber of Trade with help from Haltwhistle Town Council, it acts as a key fundraiser for the town’s Christmas lights.
The late hours are from 4pm to 8pm and will be on November 26.
Businesses that are included in late extended hours include Armstrong Fashion & Bridal, PPH Hire & Supplies, The Manor House Hotel and The Black Bull who have raised £683 as a result of their recent charity night for the Christmas lights. They are also matching the same amount to Prostate Cancer UK.
There will also be a performance from Hannah Lucy Stage school from 4:30-5pm.
Owner of  Hannah Lucy Stage school said: "This will be our first performance since December 2019 due to Covid so there is certainly an added air to the excitement.
"The children cannot wait to show their dances to friends, family and everyone else who comes down to see us!

Shoppers will also be able to buy a Christmas raffle tickets that has top prize of £100 in Towns Shopping Vouches.
Owner of The Manor House Hotel and Town Cllr Terry Christie said: "I was over-joyed when I heard that the Chamber of Trade announced that the event was going ahead after they decided it was too much of a big event to put off. 
"It was touch and go because of Covid but at the 11th hour, they made the decision for it to go ahead."
"It is almost magical, as there will be a choir from Haltwhistle Academy and there's normally a Santa there handing out gifts.
"The atmosphere is amazing and the public love the amazing Christmas lights.
"Myself and staff at The Manor Hotel join in on the night and we are normally dressed up as elves and pixies."
