COMMUNITIES across Tynedale will pause to pay their respects to the fallen this Remembrance Sunday (November 14).
Towns and villages across the district usually turn out in their numbers for parades and wreath laying.
Last year, due to the Covid-19 pandemic restrictions, people decorated their homes, businesses and buildings with poppies, baked cakes and held private commemorations, while traditional church services were either stream-lined, and Covid compliant, or moved online.
We’ve taken a look back at services and parades on Remembrance Sunday over the years.
