THE Forum Cinema are hosting Christmas film screenings inside Hexham Abbey.

Two festive favourites will be shown in the Abbey's Nave on Friday, December 10.

The Polar Express will be on at 4.30pm, followed by It's a Wonderful Life at 8pm.

Chris Kelly, Marketing Officer at Forum Cinema Hexham, said: "We are delighted to be working with Hexham Abbey and Ingram AV once more to provide an unforgettable festive experience.

"We love both The Polar Express and It's a Wonderful Life at The Forum and hope our patron can enjoy and experience these Christmas classics in a way they have never before, especially after the pretty miserable Christmas we all had last year."

Seats are unallocated so customers are advised to arrive in good time if they have a specific spot they'd like to sit in.

Refreshments will be available.

The independent cinema said they have enjoyed a strong couple of months, mostly down to the James Bond film 'No Time to Die', with over 5,000 people visiting the cinema to see the one film alone.

Tickets for the Christmas screenings are available to purchase now in our café/bar, online at www.forumhexham.com or by calling 01434 601144.
