A date for the Hexham lantern festival has been announced.
The free event will be returning on November 19 at 6:30pm.
There will be a parade which starts at 6pm, live music at 6:30pm in the market square and there is an opportunity for late shopping,
The event will also include free lantern making workshops which are on at 10 am and 1pm.
Katy Taylor, Artistic Director at Queen's Hall Arts Centre said: "The Lantern Parade is a celebration and after so many cultural events have sadly been cancelled over the past two years we can't wait to bring our community together to enjoy some much needed music and light. The Hexham Culture Network hopes this pilot event will pave the way for a larger lantern parade in future, so we want lots of people to come and take part to help make it a night to remember."
