AN INVESTIGATION has been launched following a disturbance at a town's Co-op store.
Northumbria Police received a report of a disturbance at the Co-op in Oakfield Terrace in Prudhoe at 7.15pm on Friday.
A police spokesperson said: “It was reported that an offender was being abusive and making threats towards staff.
“Officers attended but the individual had already left the scene. Nobody was injured, but an investigation has been launched into the incident.”
