A MAN was arrested after an incident on a town's main street.
At around 9.50pm, police received a report of a disturbance on Front Street, Prudhoe.
It was a reported a man had been shouting threats to another person in the street known to him.
Northumbria Police officers supported by the National Police Air Service (NPAS) were deployed to the scene but the male suspect had already left the area.
The man was later arrested at his home address and remains in police custody.
Nobody was injured.
