THE latest addition to Newcastle's night life scene has been officially opened.
New bar, grill and disco lounge The Hustle is owned by Hexham men Rob Seaman and John Dance, of Vertem Asset Management, and Marty Smith.
It is the sister venue to The Lofts super-club - a 1,500 capacity venue which has three separate rooms and opened last August Bank Holiday weekend on Newcastle's Newgate Street to much fanfare.
The Hustle, owners say, is ideal for drinks, light bites and a late night disco and features luxury interiors curated by House of Dakota.
It held its opening party last night, at the Newgate Street venue, (October 22) where guests were served complimentary champagne and fresh pizza slices.
Open from 12pm to midnight Thursday - Sunday, the bar will have live DJs, a wide drinks selection and modern cocktail menu. From October 29, a full New York style tapas menu will also be available.
Rob, whose wife is also from Hexham, worked in the Balearic Islands during the early 90s as director of Cafe Mambo and a stint at Pacha Ibiza. A move to Mallorca then saw him work as VIP director for Ibiza Rocks before launching BH Mallorca.
