Hexham's half marathon returned with some time smashing results.
The event started at 11am and saw dozens of runners take part in the 13.1-mile run which start's at Housesteads Roman Fort on the Military Road and then follows Hadrian’s wall trail path back towards Hexham.
Runners then head down to Newbrough and through woodland to the Tyne Riverside trail path which heads back to Hexham.
The finish took place at Tyne Green Country Park. Finishers were rewarded with a wooden medal, a technical T-shirt and snacks and beer or a soft drink to relax after a long run.
This marathon saw some incredible finishing times for all those taking part.

The Fastest male was Jamie Handyside who finished in 01:31:13 and the fastest female was Jessica Slater who finished in 01:46:32.
