THE actress who played Dr Who's seventh companion will be appearing at the Allendale Sci-Fi museum for filming.
Sophie Aldred, who played 'Ace' in the 1980's alongside Sylvester McCoy, is heading to the Museum of Classic Sci-Fi with award-winning director Keith Barnfather to film fresh material for a 'Reeltime Pictures' DVD release.
The filming is for their latest series - 'Doctor on Display', which will be examining the history of the famous 'Doctor Who Exhibitions' that began in the 1960's.
Keith and Sophie will be looking at the Allendale museum as it remains as the only permanent dedicated classic 'Doctor Who' and classic Sci-Fi history museum in the UK.
Owner of the museum Neil Cole is excited for the event.
He said: "Sophie will be performing a special 'official' symbolic re-opening of the museum following COVID. There will also be an appearance of Davros who will be patrolling and menacing the village throughout the day. Sophie and Keith will be meeting and greeting fans and visitors to the museum - and filming interviews with them for the new DVD - so it should be a really fantastic event."
The meet and greet will be on Saturday November 13 at 9.45pm.
