WITH coronavirus restrictions eased, many have enjoyed the chance to attend events and live performances again.

And since the Queen's Hall in Hexham re-opened, visitors have been able to watch comedians Jason Manford and Chris Ramsey, as well as enjoy live music including from Thank ABBA for the Music.

Talented local performers have long shared the stage at the venue, on Beaumont Street, with internationally renowned actors and musicians.

Upcoming shows include a concert from award-winning songwriter Sam Carter, 'Hazy Little Thing Called Love' by the Chase star Paul Sinha and 'Sixty! (FFS!)' by Jenny Eclair.

For now, we've taken a look at some of the past performances at our town's iconic venue.
