ENQUIRIES were carried out after a child from Hexham was thought to have gone missing.
Shortly before 6.15pm last night, Northumbria Police received a report of a missing 11-year-old girl.
A force spokesman said enquiries were quickly carried out and the girl was safely located at a friend's house after a short time.
