APPLE pressing will return to Hexham Farmers' Market next weekend.
Transition Tynedale are asking people to bring their apples along to the farmers' market on Saturday October 9.
Volunteers will be on hand to collect, press and pulp apples into samples of juice.
The organisation said the event will be a welcome return after it was unable to go ahead last year.
Transition Tynedale launched the Edible Hexham Trail at the farmers' market earlier this month.
The new two-mile trail mixes local food history with a walk around all the edible Hexham beds and the community garden, and aims to inspire people to grow their own and help reduce food miles.
More information about Transition Tynedale activities can be found on their website and Facebook page.
