A TRAIN company is offering customers to meet its team and staff at Hexham station

Northern Rail has created the event to give customers the opportunity to talk with senior staff about all things Northern – from stations, to services, to refurbished trains.

A spokesperson for the train company said: "We have been doing this for several years and we believe that it is important to keep this communication and relationship with the customers.

"It is important to keep communication with the customers as we can make improvements but also answer any key queries.

"We could not do it during Covid but now there are no restrictions we can start the meetings again."

Kerry Peters, Regional Director at Northern, said: “Our customers are at the heart of everything we do and we want to give them the opportunity to meet with us to talk through our plans for the region. We’ll also be available to answer any questions our customers may have about Northern.”

Although Northern Rail have not set a location at the station, it is presumed that it will be on one of the platforms, as they have done previously on other events.

The team will be on hand from 8am to 10.30am on Friday, October 1 and customers are invited to pop along to the station to have an informal chat.
