TWO people were taken to hospital after a three-car crash in Hexham yesterday.
Shortly after 4.20pm yesterday (Monday), police received a report of a three-car collision on Allendale Road, near the South Lands junction.
A Northumbria Police spokesperson confirmed a 26-year-old woman and a 63-year-old man were taken to hospital.
A North East Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We sent two ambulance crews, two crews from our Hazardous Area Response Team (HART), and requested support from the Great North Air Ambulance Service.
"Two patients were taken to the RVI; one patient by road, and the other by air."
