The deadline for the High Sheriff Awards of Northumberland have been extended.
The High Sheriff of Northumberland, Joanna Riddell, of Stamfordham, has announced that she has extended the deadline to allow more people to apply for the awards.
Awards are aimed to support community youth projects which help engage young people aged 10 to 25 in constructive and developmental activities, encourage their personal development, and deter them from anti-social activities.
The deadline is now 30 September and the awards are around £750 to youth organisations.
