VILLAGERS came out in their droves for an annual harvest show.

The Humshaugh Harvest Show was well stocked with a range of impressive homemade and home grown produce.

The show was opened by Coun. Nick Morphet and there was entertainment from a Northumbrian piper and local musicians. A free face painter, alpacas and kids games ensured local children were kept busy.

Show organiser Sarah Dodd explained: “The enthusiasm and skill that villagers have shown this year is phenomenal. It’s a huge team effort to put on the show so we are all thrilled that the sun shone and that the whole village came out to show their talents and celebrate with others.”

Local businesses - Ivy and Rigg, Stony Pastures, Restaurant Hjem and Arkell’s Brewery - were all involved in the day as well as vets.
