A NEW deputy manager has been appointed at the Charlotte Straker Project.

Sam Willis brings over ten years’ experience in the care home sector, most recently at Overstone Care Home, Hexham.

She will be working in collaboration with Pam Crawley - registered manager - to ensure the smooth running of the nursing and residential home in Corbridge.

“I’m delighted to be able to join the Charlotte Straker Team and I can’t wait to get stuck into my role”, said Sam.

“I’ve always loved working in care and I’m looking forward to building relationships with the residents at Charlotte Straker House.”

Chair of trustees, Berenice Groves, was delighted to welcome Sam to the team.

She added: “We’re very pleased that Sam has decided to join us and on behalf of myself and the board, I’d like to welcome her into the Charlotte Straker family and hope she will enjoy working with us for many years to come.”

Charlotte Straker House is one of the district’s leading care homes.
