WE are lucky here in Tynedale to have some great gift shops, with a wide variety of present options for different occasions.

BRADLEYS AT BRIDGE END, HEXHAM

Jenny Thorp said the Hexham gift shop was her favourite.

Chris Pentney said the gallery is a "real gem of a place". "We're lucky to have it in the village," he added.

CRAFTERS EMPORIUM, PRUDHOE

Abby Wintersgill and Pat Stott recommended Crafters Emporium. Pat commented: "Lovely original gifts, crafting sessions. I had some special glamour masks made for a recent cruise and they were much admired."

HOMELY AROMAS, PRUDHOE

Linzi Ellender said: "A fantastic selection and a really personal service. All budgets catered for and you are really listened to so you always come away with the best gift."

SORELLA, HEXHAM

Barbara Smith described it as "the most gorgeous little shop".

Lindsey Birney agreed and said she had "never left without THE perfect gift."

DAISY HOME INTERIORS, MICKLEY

Ann Bell said there is variety and a great price range. Catherine Lowe also said: "There is a great range of products to suit all budgets and the staff are just lovely."

Carol Lapit said the shop is "fabulous".

Helen Banks listed the shop as her favourite and said: "Great selection of gifts, jewellery, cards and clothing for all. Handmade soaps too."
