ITV have confirmed when the beloved crime drama Vera will be back on our screens.
The hit show's 11th series will begin on Sunday, August 29 at 8pm.
Vera, which is based on books by Ann Cleeves, is filmed in locations across the North East.
And Brenda Blethyn, who plays DCI Vera Stanhope, along with other cast members have been spotted filming in Tynedale in recent months for the upcoming series.
Locations where they have been spotted include Hexham, Corbridge, Stamfordham, Matfen and Allendale.
