TYNEDALE beer festival has an amazing offer for NHS workers.

Self-styled as 'probably the region's best beer festival', it will take place September 3-5 and offer free tickets for anyone in the health service who has worked throughout the pandemic.

Free tickets are available for the Sunday and are subject only to a £1 booking fee, as long as you remember to take your NHS ID card on the day.

They say: "On this special day, 500 NHS staff will be able to come along for FREE, our way of saying thanks for everything that the NHS has done for the community and country in the last 18 months.

"The dedication, care and bravery of our NHS staff over the past 18 months cannot be underestimated and we are sure that everyone reading this post agrees that the hard work and selflessness of those working for the NHS should be treasured and rewarded."

The festival takes place at Tynedale Park, Corbridge and you can book both normal and camping tickets for the event.

Tickets are still available for all time slots except Saturday, for which they say they might release more on August 31 depending on the weather, to keep the indoor areas safe.
