Owners of popular Hexham fish and chip shop say emotional goodbye after 17 years.
A FISH and chip shop in Hexham has given an emotional goodbye to the customers they have served for years.
Antigoni, Nick, Lambro, Stella and Adam of Hexham Fish Bar have thanked the people who have kept them in business for many years, before handing over ownership in the next week.
They posted: "Goodbyes are never easy.
"We have run this restaurant/takeaway since October 2004 and it has been such a blessing getting to know you all individually.
"We have gained so many friends in the years gone by and we will miss you all very much.
"We will miss the laughs we've had and everything that goes with knowing you all."
They have owned the restaurant since 2004 but are now in their last few days in charge.
