A STOCKSFIELD café is to reduce its menu to navigate staff shortages.
Many businesses are having to change their practices amid the 'pingdemic', where staff are having to isolate after being contacted by the NHS COVID-19 app.
Bywell Coffee Barn has changed its menu on Fridays and Mondays to ease the burden on its staff.
They posted: "Hi everyone, much like many many businesses at the moment we are having days where we have lower staff numbers. We have made a few minimal alterations to our service whilst we navigate through the next few weeks and recruit a few staff members.
"So for the coming weeks on Fridays and Mondays we will be offering a slightly reduced menu. All other days will remain unchanged .
"As always all of you have been amazing in your support of us and our team have really stepped up so we can operate as normally as possible, we are extremely lucky to have such a fab team."
