VENUE: Hexham Abbey
AN ALL-FEMALE theatre troupe is set to take on a Shakespeare classic at Hexham Abbey.
The public is invited to join The HandleBards for a 'bicycle-powered, farcical' production of Macbeth on August 11.
The HandleBards travel between shows by bicycle, transporting sets, props and costumes courtesy of pedal power.
The outdoor production of Macbeth begins at 7pm, with doors opening at 6pm.
Members of the public are asked to bring their own chairs and blankets to sit on.
