VERA has, once again, been welcomed to Hexham.
Actress Brenda Blethyn and crew are filming scenes for the ITV drama today (Friday, July 23).
The popular series is no stranger to the local area and is recording on the town's Tyne Green and St Mary's Chare (roughly between the hours of 1pm and 5pm).
Vera is based on books by Ann Cleeves and is filmed in locations across the North-East. The upcoming season is scheduled to be broadcast later this year.
