A Ponteland business has appeared in court after it displayed an illegal advertising banner.
Brookson Ltd, of Western Way, Ponteland, appeared before Newcastle Magistrates Court on June 18.
The court heard on November 4 2020 the business, which provides IT services, displayed an advertising banner on Station Road, Newcastle.
The banner contravened planning regulations, the court heard.
Representatives of the company pleaded guilty to the offence and magistrates granted a conditional discharge.
However Brookson Ltd was ordered to pay a £22 surcharge and £292.60 in legal costs.
