A man has pleaded not guilty to more than £30,000 of vehicle fraud.
The incidents, involving vehicle restorations, are alleged to have taken place in the village of Wylam between March 2012 and October 2014.
Alan MacIntryre (61) of Dicklebrough, North Suffolk, denied eight charges of fraud by false representation at Newcastle Crown Court.
MacIntyre denies all of the charges and was granted bail with requirements to make the court aware of any changes to his correspondence address and not to make contact with prosecution witnesses.
His Honour Judge Earl set a date for MacIntyre to return to Newcastle Crown Court on June 13 2022.
