A MAN has been fined after he admitted stealing almost £270 worth of goods from an Iceland supermarket.
Ryan Matthew Ferguson, 27, of Randall Street, Carlisle, appeared at the city's magistrates court on Friday.
He faced two charges of theft relating to incidents on March 29 and on April 10. The court heard Ferguson stole items to the value of £98 in the first incident and £168 in the second theft from Iceland on Lowther Street in Carlisle.
Ferguson admitted the charge, and was fined £40. He was also ordered to pay £168 compensation, a victim surcharge of £34, and costs of £85.
