Council apologises after garden waste collections unable to go ahead
The Council has issued an apology to residents in Northumberland after garden waste collections were not completed today.
A statement on the Northumberland County Council website said that garden waste collections were not completed in the Matfen and Fenwick area due to ‘operational problems.’
The statement also asked that residents in the affect area leave their bins out or present them for collection from 7am on Friday, June 11.
