MANY people were excited to be able to have a long overdue haircut following months of hairdressers and barbers being closed.
We asked Hexham Courant readers where the best barbers are in Tynedale.
BOB’S BARBERS, HEXHAM
Natasha Leontiou recommended Bob’s Barbers and said they are “absolutely amazing”.
Lois Staples and James Clare also recommended the barbers on Hallstile Bank.
Janet Lowerson commented that the staff are “amazing” and “patient and caring”.
ZEN BARBER, HEXHAM
Stef Schollick said it is “quite simply the best barber in Hexham, probably even Northumberland!”
“You need to take my word for it and go there!” Stef added.
Steven Gibson said Zen is an “excellent barber” and that they “take their time and get it perfect”.
He added: “Only criticism is that they do not charge enough money for the time they take.”
THE BARBER BUS
The Barber Bus travels around different villages in Tynedale.
Billy Robinson said it is a “fantastic service for the community”.
And Claire Hunter said it is the “best by far”.
FRONT STREET BARBERS, PRUDHOE
Darren William Cross commented that he recommended Front Street Barbers.
One person gave the barbers a five star review on Google and said they offer “top quality haircuts and amazing service.”
Another reviewer on Google agreed, writing: “Fantastic haircuts and lovely staff.”
Another person wrote: “My son has a fear of the hair dryers and clippers at Barbers. Front street did an amazing job of acclimatising my son so that he set perfectly happy and still. Great job.”
JOHNS HAIRDRESSERS, PRUDHOE
Another recommendation by Darren William Cross was Johns Hairdressers.
The hairdressers, which is also on Front Street in Prudhoe, has many five star reviews on Google.
One reviewer commented on their “great value” and “professional service”.
Another Google reviewer said: “Great place, staff are awesome, great place for kids as well.”
