Drivers are facing delays on the M6
HEAVY levels of traffic have been seen on the M6 heading towards Cumbria.
Drivers heading north are facing delays as the county expects a massive influx of visitors for the bank holiday weekend.
Congestion has been seen tailing as far out as Blackburn with drivers heading towards Kendal and the Lake District.
One driver said: "It is absolutely mental.
"I have never seen so much traffic on the M6 - I hope it has cleared by the time I'm coming home!"
