Cases of Coronavirus across Northumberland remain low as just two positive cases were recorded in the last 24 period.
The total of positive cases in the county now stands at 17,617 according to Government figures.
No further Covid-related deaths have been recorded at Northumbria NHS Trust’s hospitals in the last 24 hour period. This means that according to figures from Public Health England, the death toll stands at 731 since last March.
All wards in Ponteland and the Tyne Valley have recorded between 0 and 4 cases over the last seven-day period.
Yesterday, the vaccine was rolled out to people aged 34 and 35.
