A phone mast in the region was damaged last week during a storm.
Residents in the Greenhead area were without mobile phone coverage on networks including EE and Virgin Media after a nearby mast was damaged.
The repair took nearly two days to complete, meaning coverage was unavailable for nearly 48 hours as a result.
“Following storms around Northumberland on Tuesday (May 11), an EE mast was damaged which led to some customers experiencing a reduced service,” said an EE spokesperson.
“Our engineers have now fixed the site and full service has been restored.”
