SOME new faces have been elected to serve Prudhoe Town Council.
It comes after the results of the local elections saw long-serving councillor and former mayor Jennifer McGee lose her seat.

In the Prudhoe Hall parish ward, independent Kiran Bell was sworn in, joining returning Labour councillors Glen Simpson and Carol Stephenson, while the West Wylam parish ward is now represented by independents Rob Blackburn and Jane Johnson and Labour’s Angie Scott, who also secured a seat on Northumberland County Council.
