A DREAM home is planned by a family in a Tynedale village.
Mr and Mrs Hood have applied to Northumberland County Council to replace the former west side gallery at Newton Hall with a single family dwelling, which the applicants say would be their dream home.
A planning and access statement compiled by agent Daniel Puttick, of Newcastle-based BH Planning and Design, said: "The client's brief for the site seeks to redevelop the existing site for a dwelling in which they can relocate from their current residence and have as their dream home.
"The design is to be modern and seek to maximise low carbon technologies and focus on a sustainable approach in all measures.
"Where possible, we should seek to consider innovative designs or construction, as a RIBA chartered practice we are seeking to do this on all projects where possible as part of our aim to positively and actively contribute to the RIBA 2030 Climate Challenge."
