Northumbria Police were called to Hexham after concerns were raised for the welfare of a man.
On Friday evening, a call was made regarding the welfare of a male on Springfield Road in the town.
A Northumbria Police spokesperson said: “Shortly before 7pm on Friday (May 7) we received a report of concern for the welfare of a male in the Springfield Road area of Hexham.
“Officers carried out a search of the area and located the male in question. He was found to be safe and well.”
