The results of the elections for Hexham and Prudhoe Town Councils have been revealed this evening, with a number of surprising results having been confirmed.
In Hexham, current Town Mayor Bob Hull and former mayor of the town Tom Gillanders have both lost their seats while a group of independents – Open Hexham – have performed well in the election.
Prudhoe meanwhile has also some surprising results, with former mayor Jennifer McGee and also Russ Greig both losing their seats.
