Ten new positive cases of Coronavirus have been confirmed in the last 24-hour period in Northumberland.
This takes the total of positive recorded tests to 17,558 according to Public Health England data.
Once again, there have been no further Covid-related deaths in Northumbria NHS Trust hospitals, meaning that the total of deaths since last March remains at 728.
All council wards in Northumberland have registered between zero and four positive Coronavirus cases in the past 7 days.
Later today, it is expected that Transport Secretary Grant Shapps will unveil the Government’s holiday green list.
