HOLIDAY firm Jet2 says that it expects to report losses of between £375m and £385m for the last financial year because of the pandemic.

In a statement Jet2 said: "We took swift and decisive action to raise close to £1.0bn in liquidity from a diversified range of funding sources, to mitigate the impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic.

"The impact of the proposed Covid travel restrictions for Summer 2021 remain difficult to determine and in fairness to all our stakeholders and customers, we took the difficult decision to extend the suspension of our flights and holidays from May 17 up to June 23, by which time we are expecting more clarity."
