READERS of the Hexham Courant online took to social media to share their views on the news that a tour company will this summer offer day trips to see the Northumberland filming locations of well-known and much-loved ITV drama Vera.

Vera, which stars Brenda Blethyn in the lead role, is no stranger to the Tyne Valley and always receives a warm welcome from fans.
She has recently visited Corbridge, as well as Blanchland, Barrasford, Ridsdale and Newbrough.
